"Amazing Animals: Macaronimals" is the second episode of Season 13 of Kids Baking Championship and the 108th overall. It first aired on January 13th, 2025.[1]

Description[]
Hosts and judges Duff Goldman and Kardea Brown have noticed that a particular dessert can be easily shaped into animals like a turtle, a panda or a frog ... but the dessert itself can be tricky. So, for the macaron animals challenge, Duff shows the kid bakers how to create a silky smooth macaron batter before baking time starts. Then, since the animal macarons need a place to rest, the bakers must give their animals an edible habitat to hang out in.

Duff Goldman and Kardea Brown challenge kids to make animal macarons with edible habitats; Duff demonstrates smooth batter preparation before the baking competition begins. The contestants had two and a half hours to make a dozen macarons shaped like the face of an assigned animal. The twist was to create an edible habitat on which to present their macaronimals.
Full Plot[]
Brooklyn won with frog macarons with lemon and peach filling. The judges praised the consistency of the macaron batter and the rice cereal treat trees in the habitat. Piper was sent home. The judges liked the flavor of his coconut monkey macarons with banana ears. However, he only made 7 of the required 12 macarons.
