"Amazing Animals: Sea Creature Sweets" was the fourth episode of Season 13 of Kids Baking Championship and the 110th overall. It is set to air on January 27th, 2025.[1][2]
Plot[]
Description[]
This week, we're setting sail with Disney Cruise Line to visit Disney Lookout Cay, where the native sea creatures are so beautiful and inspiring that Duff Goldman and Kardea Brown ask the bakers to create sea animal desserts in an ocean or beach setting. For the twist, bakers are required to make a custom ice cream with a mix-in that goes with their dessert. Then, very special guests Captain Mickey Mouse and Captain Minnie Mouse drop by for a visit because there is an amazing prize at stake in this challenge -- the winning baker will enjoy a Disney Cruise Vacation![1]
Summary[]
In a promotion for Disney Cruise Line, the bakers were given two and a half hours to make desserts depicting a selected sea animal in a beach or ocean scene. The bakers were free to make any type of dessert. The twist was to make a mix-in for vanilla ice cream, which was provided.
Full Plot[]
Carly won with a crab beach scene blondie. The judges enjoyed its texture, coconut white chocolate flavor, and salty cracker topping. As the winner, she received a family vacation from Disney Cruise Line. Carter was sent home after making a butterscotch brownie with pâte à choux dolphins. The judges stated that the dolphins (originally intended to be éclairs) did not puff up at all. They also said he added too much ruby chocolate into the ice cream, creating an unpleasant flavor.
