"Comfort Food Dessert Imposters" is the third episode of Season 3 of Kids Baking Championship and the 15th overall.[1] It first aired on January 16th, 2017.[2]

Description[]
The most beloved challenge of all pulls up a seat at the local diner! The remaining 10 kid bakers must create a comfort food dessert imposter -- meatloaf, fried chicken, mac and cheese, and more -- to keep their place at the table.[3]

The remaining ten bakers must create a comfort food dessert imposter — meatloaf (Cole), fried chicken (Justice), mac and cheese (Audra), PB&J (Keili), chili (Reese), roast beef sandwich (Maya), hot dog (Dylin), meatball sub (Aidan), grilled cheese sandwich (Kaniyah), and a burrito (Jason). For the twist, the bakers must make dessert imposter chips and salsa.
Full Plot[]
Jason made a "burrito" by using a crepe as a tortilla filled with pound cake as chicken, and chocolate as refried beans. For the twist, he made crepes as chips, and buttercream as salsa. Dylin made a "hot dog" by using vanilla cake as the bun, and dyed vanilla buttercream as the hot dog, mustard, ketchup, and relish. For the twist, he used red dye and cherries as the salsa, and phyllo dough as chips.
