"Macaron Madness" is the fourth episode of Season 6 of Kids Baking Championship[1] and the 43rd overall. It first aired on January 28th, 2019.[2]
Plot[]
Description[]
Macarons are a wildly popular dessert, and macarons decorated with faces are a definite trend. Valerie Bertinelli and Duff Goldman challenge the nine young bakers to create macarons decorated with happy faces and sad faces.[3]
Summary[]
The bakers had to make six macarons with happy faces and six macarons with sad faces. The twist was they had to make a crumble to go around their macarons.
Full Plot[]
Jaxon made vanilla macarons with a cream cheese buttercream for his happy macarons, and vanilla macarons with an espresso buttercream for his sad macarons. For the twist, he made a graham cracker crust crumble. Misha made macarons with a Swiss buttercream and lemon curd for his happy macarons, and macarons with a Swiss buttercream and caramel for his sad macarons. For the twist, he made a vanilla wafer cookie crumble.
