"Pet Shop Joys" is the eighth episode of Season 3 of Kids Baking Championship and the 20th overall.[1] It first aired on February 20th, 2017.[2]
Plot[]
Description[]
Cute little pets serve as the inspiration for incredible sweets when the last five kid bakers standing must create a dessert inspired by the animal they are paired with: guinea pig, turtle, rabbit, mini pig or silkie chicken.[3]
Summary[]
The bakers are challenged to create desserts based on animals: a rabbit, a turtle, a silky chicken, a guinea pig and a mini pig. The twist is that the bakers must include a friend for their mini pet dessert.
Full Plot[]
Kaniyah was assigned the rabbit, so she made a pineapple upside down cake with a cat sugar cookie and a pineapple ice cream. Audra was assigned the silky chicken, so she made A banana cake with a vanilla frosting and fondant chickens with a mini pet friend of a fondant egg the chicken laid.

- This is the first episode of the series to have live animals in the episode.
- The judges pointed out that Aidan made a mistake with 1 of the turtle feet not touching the shell, but neglected to notice Cole's spider only had 6 legs instead of 8.
