"Winning Colors" is the seventh and final episode of Season 5 of Kids Baking Championship[1] and the 39th overall. It first aired on September 17th, 2018.[2]

Plot[]

Description[]

Thunder claps and lightning strikes greet the bakers but when the storms pass, a rainbow appears and inspires the final challenge -- rainbow cakes! Valerie Bertinelli and Duff Goldman want cakes that have rainbows on the inside and outside. Whoever has the best rainbow cake will win $25,000, a spot in Food Network Magazine and the title of Kids Baking Champion![3]

The bakers had to make a rainbow cake that looks like a rainbow on both the outside and the inside. The twist was they had to make an edible pot of gold.

Full Plot[]

Natasha made a vanilla cake with citrus frosting and rainbow rosettes. Matthew made a lemon cake with raspberry filling and lemon vanilla buttercream. Taylor made a two-tier yellow cake with lemon curd and strawberry buttercream. In the end, Natasha's stunning cake was good enough to take home the $25,000 prize and be named Kids Baking Champion.
